Museum jobs Ireland: Curators of Western & East Asian Collections

The Chester Beatty Library (CBL), Dublin, Ireland is currently seeking to fill two posts: the Curator of Western Collections and the Curator of East Asian Collections.

Key areas of responsibility for the museum jobs include:

• Developing and coordinating permanent displays and temporary exhibitions
• Carrying out research and publishing on relevant aspects of the Collection
• Facilitating visiting researchers and overseeing existing projects
• Overseeing documentation of the relevant Collections in the collection management database
• Collaborating with colleagues in relation to interpretation and PR of the Collections

The CBL is a collegial organisation and the holder of the post(s) will be expected to work in close consultation with his/her professional colleagues in carrying out their duties.
