Hanoi | culture360.ASEF.org at 2024 Meeting Point on Art and Social Action

culture360.ASEF.org will be at the third edition of the Meeting Point on Art and Social Action in Asia from 21 to 23 March in Hanoi, Viet Nam.

This year the theme is Perspectives from the Grassroots and it will be a special edition as it will be the first large-scale in person meet-up as part of the programme. The meeting expects to host at least 100 cultural practitioners from 15 countries in Asia. MCH is collaborating with local partners National Vietnam Institute of Culture and Art Studies and Heritage Space.

Under this year's topic, culture360.ASEF.org will host a session titled 'Rethinking Cultural Diplomacy from the grassroot: A conversation with #ASEFCulture'.

Same same – but different? The impact of COVID-19 on the arts and culture sectors has raised new challenges for cultural practitioners and arts organisations, including what it means to work multilaterally and cross regionally. With more emphasis on finding a common ground, dialogue, mutual trust and understand, what does cultural diplomacy mean to and for cultural practitioners?

Join ASEF for a conversation in rethinking cross-border cultural relations.
