The Setouchi Asia Forum will be held for five days from Monday, October 17th to Friday the 21st in response to the increasing global interest in the Setouchi Triennale as a successful endeavor of regional revitalization through art.

The forum takes place in Takamatsu, Japan, the main entry point to the Setouchi Triennale with ferries to the small islands where contemporary artworks are installed.

In the Asia Forum, people involved in regional development from Asian countries and regions will share their experiences, learn and discuss with each other. To commemorate its opening, an open session will be held on Tuesday, October 18th. Leaders from the Asian arts and culture community,as well as those who have played a role in regional vitalization throughout Asia will lead the session. Setouchi Triennale 2016 has just opened the 3rd Autumn season of the art exhibition which runs till November 6th on the islands of the Seto Inland Sea in southern Japan.
