The Youth Jury & Critics Programme is a series of workshops supported by ASEF together with the National Youth Council and *SCAPE, organised in partnership with the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). The programme aims to nurture the next generation of young film jurors and critics of cinema from the region. This year's mentors include Dr Victor Fan, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Film Studies at Kings College London and Dr Trinh Minh-ha, Professor of Gender & Women's Rhetoric at University of California Berkeley. During the Festival, participants will cover the Southeast Asian Short Film Competition in the live online journal, “Youth Meets Film”, and also vote for the winner of the Youth Jury Prize at the Silver Screen Awards.
