Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) is the first and the only faculty in Malaysia that offers degrees in various multimedia fields that suit the requirement of MSC and the world in general. The Faculty of Creative Multimedia integrates academic study with extensive creative digital technology production work. This proven approach has established the Multimedia University at the forefront of Malaysian creative multimedia education. The university's international reputation as leader in creative multimedia studies ensures that its graduates are in great demand with prospective employers, and take up leading roles in the multimedia world as interactive designers, 3D animators, web masters, software developers, interface designers, special effect specialists, project managers, games designers and cyberpreneurs, among others.

The construction of the curriculum is based on the mixing of psychology, cognitive science; arts, the aesthetic aspect; creativity and technology, mainly using computers. MMU offers Pre-U and First Year as a common foundation years, at the 2nd year, the students will be divided into three majors according to their interest and qualifications.
