The National Funds of support for the audio-visual production.

This Funds, whose National Center for the Audiovisual manages the secretariat, is a publicly-owned establishment and present a mechanism of aids for audio-visual and cinematographic creation Luxembourg.

Financial means of the Funds comes directly and mainly from the State budget.

Four times a year, the steering committee operate a selection among the projects sent to the president of the Funds. As for the system of the assistances, it is structured in the following way:

• Script and project development is supported by a non-repayable grant on presentation of documents in relation to the amount granted by the steering committee


• The production is financed by a refundable advance on receipts as of the first sunken receipt


• The distribution is supported by nonrefundable support with an amount set and granted by the steering committee.
