Centre Du Film Sur L'Art  was established in 1980 by Henri Storck. It is funded by the French Community of Belgium and the French Community Commission. Its goal is to purchase, distribute, promote and conserve films and videos on art. It is a research, consultation and information hub.

The Centre has an extensive catalog and buys an average of five titles per year. It works with the Montreal Festival, organized by René Rozon. It also works with the " Midis du Cinéma" organized by Christine Boël which offers programs of classic and new films at the auditorium of the Royal Museums of Brussels.
