European Union Film Festival

Launched in 2000 and organised by the European Union Embassies in Vietnam and the Delegation of the European Commission to Vietnam in association with the Ministry of Culture and Information of Vietnam , this annual festival held in late spring features a selection of acclaimed feature films from countries of the European Union. The aim of the festival is to introduce to Vietnam ese audiences the diversity of European cinema and to give them a glimpse of modern socio-cultural issues and traits in the countries of origin. The films are screened both at the National Cinema Centre (NCC) and the Vietnam Film Association in Hanoi and at the IDECAF and FAFIM cinema in Ho Chi Minh City.
