France | Fondation Fiminco 2025 residency for Singaporean emerging visual artists

In partnership with Instinc Space and supported by the National Arts Council and the French Embassy of Singapore, the Fondation Fiminco is launching a call for applications for Singaporean emerging visual artists for a 2-month creative and production residency in Romainville (Greater Paris), from Mid-October to Mid-December 2025.

The objective of this residency programme is to support a Singaporean artist by offering them the opportunity to live and work in the Fondation Fiminco artist residency and to promote them in the contemporary art networks in Paris and on the international scene. 

During the residency, Fondation Fiminco encourages the artist to explore the following themes: preservation and transmission of collective memory through architecture, rituals and artefacts; and the ways in which collective memory is valued in the two countries, Singapore and France.

Who can apply?

Singaporean emerging visual artists between 21 and 35. 

What is provided? 

• Accommodation and workshop space
• Administrative and professional support
• A residence allowance of 4,000 EUR (made up of 2,000 EUR artist-in-residence allowance, 1,000 EUR production grant, and 1,000 EUR for a Singapore-Paris round-trip and visa fees).
