EARS on Helsinki | Europe-Asia creative industry conference

EARS – Europe-Asia Roundtable Sessions is a new platform focusing on creative industry collaboration between Europe and Asia. September 4-7 2014 EARS on Helsinki will focus on Asia and is supported by the ASEF Creative Encounters programme.

Europe-Asia Roundtable Sessions (EARS) will bring 300 creative industry professionals together to discover business opportunities, share best practices and get inspired by others and their ideas. EARS on Helsinki takes place September 4-7 2014 and showcases latest trends on music, design, media and performing arts. EARS offers the possibility to learn about the latest trends and phenomena in cultural industries and to meet the people behind them.

On 5 September 2014, ASEF will support a roundtable on policy issues in the creative industries. This topic is emerging as an area of mutual interest for Asia-Europe dialogue and also features high on the cultural agenda of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM). Ambassador ZHANG YAN, Executive Director, ASEF will attend and address the participants during the event in Helsinki.
