Cultural connection and cooperation between Viet Nam and Hungary

In Viet Nam, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Director of the International Cooperation Department Nguyen Phuong Hoa has had a meeting with the Hungarian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam Ory Csaba on establishing Hungarian Center for Culture and Community in Viet Nam.

At the meeting, the Ambassador exchanged the results of recent work with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the People's Committee of Hanoi City on long-term renting in Hanoi to be the headquarters of the Center for Culture and Community. The Ambassador desired the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to guide the necessary procedures to sign an agreement between the two countries on the establishment of the Hungarian Center for Culture and Community in Viet Nam, then opening and starting operations at the Center in 2020, contributing to the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations. between Viet Nam and Hungary.

Director of the International Cooperation Department Nguyen Phuong Hoa reaffirmed the policy of the Party and State leaders supporting the establishment of the Hungarian Center for Culture and Community in Viet Nam, and said that the establishment of this cultural base reflects the positive development of bilateral friendship and cultural cooperation between the two countries.

Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hoa exchanged experiences in developing a number of government documents between Vietnam and a number of countries on the establishment and operation of foreign cultural establishments in Vietnam in  recent time. Hungary closely cooperates with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in drafting an agreement between the two countries, for the launching activities of the Hungarian cultural center in 2020. At the same time, Director Nguyen Phuong Hoa asked Hungary to study the content of the provisions of Decree 126/2018 / ND-CP of September 20, 2018 on the establishment and operation of foreign cultural establishments in Viet Nam to prepare some other related contents such as expected organizational structure, operation and regulations of the center.
