Seoul Arts Center

Seoul Arts Center (SAC) is Korea's first and foremost complex center exclusively dedicated to cultural and artistic themes. 

SAC is made up of 5 world-class buildings (Opera House, Music Hall, Calligraphy Art Museum, Hangaram Art Museum, Arts Library). Completed between 1988 and 1990, the SAC is the representative arts complex to which nearly 2 million users visit every year in Korea. It presents about 1,500 performances and over 100 exhibitions in 7 specialised spaces of the arts complex, world-renowned domestic and overseas artists to meet their audiences on stages.

The Center has been noted for its faithful devotion to experimental initiatives and original performances and exhibitions. Designed and constructed to maximise the features of the exclusive subject of each building, SAC holds the traditional architectural beauty and is considered an optimal space, both artistically and technically, for various types of cultural and art events.
