Natyarasa

Natyarasa & Prumsodon OK is the first gay dance company founded by Prumsodon OK in 2015, combining Khmer classical dance and new creations.  

They re-stage Khmer classical dances with a vital freshness and create original, groundbreaking works at the intersection of art and human dignity. As they infuse their tradition with a contemporary spirit, they elevate the quality of life and expression for LGBTQ people in Cambodia and beyond.

Since being founded, they have worked to provide their artists with the skills and resources to live with pride, dignity, and independence. Their message of courage, compassion, service, and equity has been shared at festivals, universities, embassies, corporate functions, and community events throughout Cambodia, Thailand, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Germany. They maintain a partnership with the Counterspace Theater, where they are the dance company in residence.
