The Busan Film Commission laying the foundation for Busan‘s film industry and goes on to support the Korean film industry by various supporting programs. A “Busan Screen Writing Competition” for feature films that uses Busan as the sets, “Busan HD project” that supports the production of short digital films and funding. A “Screen wirting creation space” are all contributions made to help Busan enliven the regional industry as well national film industry.
A process that has been underway since 2000, the “Grant for Busan Productions” supported about 50 Busan films including <With a Girl of Black Soil>(directed by Jun Soo-il), <My Dear Diary>(directed by Jung Seung-ook), and <Dodari>(directed by Bak Jun-bum); and takes part in developing regional talents.
