From April 30 to May 4, 2014, the 43rd International Student Film Festival Sehsüchte takes place in Potsdam-Babelsberg, Germany. Filmmakers around the world are invited to submit their films!

The festival especially encourage submissions of children’s and youthfilms. Both sections present outstanding contemporary !lms and celebrate one !lm respectively with an audience award.

Sehsüchte suggests submissions according to an age group. The children’s film aims at viewers between 6 and 12 years, while the youth film is for an audience from 12 years on. Admitted are feature-length and short films of all genres, which are thematically and aesthetically linked to the experiences of children and youngsters. Please pay attention to the festival regulations and technical requirements for playback formats and digital storage devices.
