Edinburgh | Visiting Arts Producers Breakfast

The Visiting Arts Producers Breakfast will be held in Edinburgh on 22 August and is a free event, open to international cultural producers and professionals. This year’s Breakfast will feature enhanced networking activities, launch of the re-designed platform World Cultures Connect, and discussions about collaborating and disseminating productions online. The VA Producers’ Breakfast, presented in partnership with Creative Scotland during the Edinburgh festival creates the opportunity for 200 UK and international producers, programmers and creators to come together, make new connections and sow seeds of collaboration and partnership.

The panel will discuss collaborations and dissemination through online technology, including virtual reality, crowd sourcing and internet broadcasting. VA will also launch the redesigned World Cultures Connect platform, which helps artists and organisations "promote, discover and connect" online. The Breakfast will be followed by a presentation on the upcoming Creative Europe, the EU’s support programme for culture by the UK Cultural Contact Point.
