Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia

With 12 agencies under the ambit of the Ministry, they are working hand-in-hand to ensure both the tourism and culture sectors continue their significant contribution to the nation.

The aims of the ministry are: 

• Driving tourism and culture and strengthen, preserve and conserve the art, culture and heritage
• Strengthening the arts, culture and heritage based on national cultural policy to strengthen national unity
• Enhancing synergies and cooperation between tourism and cultural sector players to make Malaysia as a destination of choice
• Strengthening the tourism and cultural sector to enhance the national economy
• Promoting the uniqueness of the art, culture and heritage as a major catalyst of growth and cultural tourism
• Providing the human capital that is knowledgeable, skilled, creative and innovative in the sectors of tourism and culture
