Contemporary Dance Association of Japan

The contemporary Dance Association of Japan is an alliance of dance professionals in Japan, who have collaborated to promote Japanese Culture. In addition to organising performances, spreading and improving modern dance in Japan, they also research, collect material and bring out publishings regarding dance.

Contemporary Dance Association of Japan is presenting various kinds of performances for the purpose of contributing to progress in Japanese culture. Spreading and improving modern dance, they aim to propelling creative activities. They performed at "Arts Plan 21" under the joint auspices of the Agency for Cultural Affairs, and the Metropolitan Art Festival assisted by the city of Tokyo. They have made a tour of the Travelling Art Festival to perform at various places since 1977.
