The second Southeast Asian Film Lab of the Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) is now open for applications. Southeast Asian filmmakers embarking on their first feature-length film will be given the unique opportunity to be personally mentored by award-winning Hong Kong film producer Terence Chang (Broken ArrowFace/OffRed Cliff), and vie for the S$5,000 Most Promising Project Award presented by Anthony Chen's Giraffe Pictures.

Participants will receive intensive script consultation sessions throughout the week by writer/directors Yong Mun Chee (Singapore) and Sherad Anthony Sanchez (Philippines), along with masterclasses from filmmakers from the region and beyond.

The programme is open to first-time feature film screenwriters and writer/directors from Southeast Asia.

Candidates must have made at least two short films that have screened at film festivals. 10 projects will be selected to participate.

Application closes on Friday, 21 August 2015, 6pm (GMT+8).
