II. International Triennial of Ceramics Unicum 2012 takes place 15 May - 30 September 2012 in Maribor with parallel events all over Slovenia. Open call to ceramics artists worldwide.

Any individual artist or group of artists who work in this media (ceramics) may participate in the II. International Triennial of Ceramics Unicum 2012.
Each participant is allowed to submit up to three entries among which the international jury will make the selection.

Deadline for submission of IMAGES of works: October 31 2011

Following selection process, artists will be invited to send work for exhibition in 2012. Costs of sending and returning selected artworks are artist’s responsibility.

The emphasis is on popularization as well as presentation of contemporary ceramics as an independent area in the field of artistic creation. The Triennial is a connection between international and Slovene space and it gives fresh insight into artistic ceramics. Its intention is to search through elementary artistic research in connection with contemporary though; the character of contemporaneity is given by individualism, development of personal artistic language and enriched by traditional influences of old technologies.
