In conjunction with this year's George Town Literary Festival (to be held from Nov 29 till Dec 1), writer and indie filmmaker Amir Muhammad is searching for short films (with time duration of one to twenty minutes) that capture the sights and sounds of Penang for the festival's public screening.

Do you have a Penang-themed short film stashed in your hard drive? If so, Amir Muhammad is interested to have a look. Whether it's fiction, documentary, experimental or animation, simply upload it to YouTube or Vimeo and drop him link via a Facebook message.

Submission deadline is Nov 1 and shortlisted films will be announced on Nov 8.
