The Asia New Zealand Foundation's arts and community grants support projects by New Zealand-based individuals and organisations that help to educate New Zealanders about Asian arts and culture.

Projects supported range from work placements for New Zealand artists in Asia, to grants to help local government and arts organisations to include Asian components in community events.

Eligibility

Art grants are available to:

• arts and cultural institutions


• New Zealand-based arts professionals


• local and regional councils


• festival and event organisers


• individuals who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.

The grants cover professional development, such as self-arranged residencies, as well as community events or projects supported by local government.
