Scholarships of 50% fees reduction are offered by Global Exchange Center in China for printmaking artists who are interested in promoting their art works and printmaking skills in China. Global Exchange runs various artist residency programmes including residencies for other visual artists and writers.

The term of the printmaking Scholarships is 4 weeks in the last quarter of 2014.   Selected artists may decide when to start in this period of time.

- These residence is for 4 weeks,
- The printmaking artists from all nationalities are welcome to apply.
- A workshop will be organized during the Artists Residence to interact with Chinese college students;
- Optional cultural tours will be offered in Beijing.

What are offered to selected artists in this program?
- Working studio space our center in Beijing
- Single room accommodation in shared apartment
- Supportive service to arrange promotion events for the artists
- The opportunities to meet and exchange ideas with Chinese artists and art collectors,
- Up to 6 private one to one Chinese Mandarin language each week, which focuses on art related subjects. The course may be tailor-made for the need of individual artist.
- Visa Application advises and on-going support services

The criteria to select:
A), Outstanding publishing background with Asia focused subjects;
B), potential to promote in China market

NOTE: these are paid residencies with no travel costs offered. The residency scholarships subsidise the normal residency costs.
