The Finnish Artists’ Studio Foundation is inviting applications from visual artists worldwide for a 3 month residency programme in 2015 at Tapiola Guest Studio in Espoo, near Helsinki.

The  residence offers visual artists the  opportunity to concentrate on their own creative work  for the duration of 3 months.  The residency period will take place from April to June 2015.

The guest studio is located at the Tapiola Studio Building, in a park - like setting just beside the sea in Espoo, 8 km from the centre of Helsinki, in Finland.

The studio has a total area of 83 m2, plus a living balcony of 15 m2. The residency includes accommodation and studio space free of charge.

Please note that the residency does not include any working grant or travel expenses.

The residency includes an artist talk either at the guest studio or at the local museum of modern art.

The main criteria for the selection is the quality of the professional practice and the motivation letter.

Finnish Artists' Studio Foundation FASF started an international artist exchange programme in Tapiola Guest Studio in 1997.
