Entries are now open for the “INTERNATIONAL RAMON ROCA BONCOMPTE AWARD FOR CULTURAL MANAGEMENT STUDIES", given by FiraTarrega and Ros Roca in Spain.

Research into cultural studies can be presented for this award promoted by FiraTàrrega and Ros Roca and with a prize of €6,000

The works presented must be studies that refer to the analysis or research in the field of cultural management, such as case studies, impact on the territory, comparative studies, cooperation, cultural policies, analysis of organisations, typologies of professionals and audiences, R+D, sponsorship and patronage, etc.

This award, the only one of its kind in Catalonia, has a prize of €6,000 and a commemorative sculpture by the artist Antoni Boleda. Note that it is one of the largest prizes in this field in Europe.

The award is international in nature and has a clear European vocation, thus original works will be accepted in three languages (Catalan, Castilian/Spanish and English).

The jury which will select the winning study will be made up of one person from Ros Roca, who will be the chairperson, a person from FiraTàrrega, and a member from the teaching staff of each of the following universities with masters, postgraduate or cultural studies and which also collaborate in the organisation of the award: University of Lleida, University of Barcelona, Pompeu Fabra University and Open University of Catalonia.

Anyone interested in knowing more details about this award and the conditions can visit the web of the Fira (http://www.firatarrega.cat/en/activitats/premis)

Note: research submitted for this award must be unpublished.

Deadline for entries: April 1st 2011
