ARKIPEL Jakarta International Documentary & Experimental Film Festival has two open calls: for film submissions to the 5th ARKIPEL on the theme of 'Penal Colony' and for the Asian Young Curator programme (open to under 30 yrs Asian passport holders & residents with experience of film curating/programming)

Deadlines: 20 April 2017

The Asian Young Curator Open Call will provide for 3 chosen young curators:

1. Screening program at ARKIPEL 5^th – Penal Colony 2017


2. Round trip ticket to Jakarta.


3. Accommodation for 4 (four) nights around the festival venues.


4. Screening fee for the films.

Applicants are invited to apply with a Curatorial Proposal for a screening slot at the festival.

ARKIPEL – Jakarta International Documentary & Experimental Film Festival, held in Indonesia by Forum Lenteng. This festival is a open space of cinema and media discourse in general, especially documentary and experimental film genre.
