The Saint-Saëns opera Frédégonde has a new French-Vietnamese co-production created in Viet Nam by M. Thach TRAN VUONG, artistic director of the Opera Symphonic Orchestra of Ho Chi Minh City. As part of the French 'Grand Tour' international francophonie programme, the work will be premiered in Ho Chi Minh City on 20-22 October 2017. The production is inspired by Saint-Saëns visit to the south of Viet Nam in 1895 where he wrote the work.
