Beautiful Books Can Change the World

The exhibition 'Beautiful Books Can Change The World' - The Universe of Tara Books, India is on at Itabashi Art Museum, Tokyo from November 25 - January 8. 

Tara Books, an independent publishing house based in Chennai, makes visual books for children, young readers and adults. Translated into many languages, they are particularly known for their high quality handmade books, featuring indigenous artists from across India, many of them are screen printed by hand by their skilled team of artisan printmakers onto handmade paper.  Tara Books has received many art, design and literature awards worldwide.
