Since 2006, the Hors Pistes Festival highlights experimental works of art and films. Organized by the Centre Georges Pompidou from where a number of artworks are borrowed from, the festival's aim is to reflect cultural diversity through films, visual arts, new media, and the performing arts. For the first time this year, the festival takes place in Tokyo, Japan. This collaborative initiative gathers Japanese and French artists together on a multidisciplinary avant-garde platform.
