THE ARTS+ is the business festival for creatives, investors, publishers, museums, tech companies, politicians and scientists who create pioneering partnerships for the smart use of creative content. The European Innovation Summit takes place October 11-15 at Frankfurt Book Fair, on the theme 'The Business of Creativity'. European Innovation Summit / Five days of inspiration, innovation and interaction with more than 50 speakers and sessions / Artist, Robots, Artificial Intelligence We believe that creative and cultural players are guardians of treasures. Because all works of art and all creative ideas can be formed into new experiences, products and businesses, reaching new audiences and creating new markets. THE ARTS+ examines the relationship between digitalisation, creativity and society THE ARTS+ aims to exploit the potential of digitalisation for creative content and to develop new business areas. How are the cultural and creative industries reinventing themselves in the age of digitalisation? And what are the options for the current and future work of art institutions and artists? Questions like these will be the focus of this year’s edition of THE ARTS+, which will take place during the Frankfurter Buchmesse (11-15 October 2017) and is a project of ALDUS, the network of European book fairs.

will open the business festival on Wednesday 11 October at 10 a.m. Every subsequent trade visitor day will be dedicated to a specific main topic: For the first time, an Innovation Summit will also be held on Wednesday. This influential gathering will establish a core working group: a European network composed of diverse individuals and institutions, ranging from policymakers and researchers to industry players and intermediaries. Participants will explore the best ways to provide support for tech-based innovation in the creative sector, at both the national and European level. In addition, the event will lay the ground for a high-ranking policy summit in 2018.
