Across Asia Film Festival takes place in Cagliari, Sardinia from 22-27 February 2016. It features independent films from Singapore, Japan, Viet Nam and China. The festival marks the 50th anniversary of the birth of the republic of Singapore and the 40th anniversary of the birth of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. Across Asia Film Festival is in its 4th edition. Across Asia Film Festival is a new festival focused on most interesting languages of recent cinematographic production from Asia, with the goal of promoting the encounter between Italian and foreigners communities and developing cultural exchanges. Across Asia Film Festival become a window on the world, a different and unconventional way to look at Asiatic continent and its representations, far from the standard and usual mainstream view.
