More than 3000 actors are members of the Union, which continues the fight to improve the art of Theater, the renaissance of spiritual life, and the improvement of society's perception for the actors. The Union fights especially for the following subjects:

• The improvement of theatrical education by introducing the studies at University level


• The reappearance of the Actors' License of Practice


• The decrease of unemployment, by the creation of new job positions in Public and Municipal theaters, TV, radio and primary education (introducing theatrical courses at schools)


• To preserve the contracts between the Actors and the employers


• To reassure the social security rights of the actors, which are in great danger by the so-called "social security revolution".
