Established in 1973, Five Star Production is one of Thailand's oldest and most famous production and distribution company and now also stands as the home of Thai movies. Five Star's film collection comprise about 240 Thai films, made by the 70 thai film directors the company has been working with, including many of the most famous ones such Pen-Ek Rattanarueng (from "6ixtynin9", "Monrak-Transistor", "Last life in the universe", and "Invisible waves"), Wisit Sasanatieng (from "Tears of the black tiger" and "Citizen dog"), Thanit Jitnukul (from "Ban Rajan", "Kun Pan", and "Art of the devil"), etc.
